Terms and Conditions

Powered Bicycles shall not be obliged to accept the return of any good(s) ordered by a customer. All orders that have been correctly supplied & returned as incorrectly ordered by the customer or no longer required shall be subject to a 30% minimum handling charge. Goods ordered incorrectly by the customer must be returned in good condition, carriage paid, with the appropriate paperwork for inspection by Powered Bicycles. Refunds will only be considered for goods in an unused and as new condition, in original packaging, suitable for resale. We will not accept any goods delivered to us in damaged packaging. All returned goods should be sent registered delivery, with a delivery signature required.

Powered Bicycles 'Return To Base" Sales Warranty.
Purchasing any product means accepting & agreeing to the Terms & Conditions of Powered Bicycles Ltd/HSC Motor Factors Ltd, hereafter called 'The Company'. Set out herein are our Terms & Conditions as supplied with each product purchased. Delivery of an electric bike, scooter or any other product does not constitute a contract of on site maintenance. All repairs to be carried out under the warranty are to be delivered to our premises by the customer, at no expense to The Company, subject to our Returned Goods Policy. Warranty repairs will be undertaken during normal weekday opening hours, Monday to Friday. Suitability of products must be determined before purchase. We will make every effort to establish product suitability prior to purchase. It is essential that we have your contact details in order that we can discuss product suitability/expectations prior to completion of Internet sales. Refunds will not be considered in any case on the basis of suitability alone. We are available to discuss product suitability/expectations during normal weekday opening hours, within the limitations of such a telephone call. The Company, it's owners or employees will not be held responsible for personal injury, damage to property, injury to a third party as a result of any person using & operating any product purchased from The Company, no matter how it is used. It is the responsibility of the owner to check the product for serviceability. Unless otherwise stated, warranty on new Electric Bicycles, Motor Kits & Electric Scooters is for a period of 24 months on frame & parts. & 12 months for the battery. Lights/indicators, spokes/chains/gears/tyres/inner tubes/brake systems/brake lights are hereby excluded from the terms & conditions of this warranty. This warranty does NOT cover: Normal wear & tear; improper assembly; improper follow-up maintenance; improper installation of components; parts & accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as originally sold; damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect; heavy/excessive mud on or over electrics & electrical components; electric bicycles or scooters taken through deep water; any signs of water ingress in electric systems; labour charges for part replacement or changeover. User recommended weight limits must be adhered to. Use by riders over the recommended weight limits may cause damage to electrical components & will invalidate the warranty. This warranty will be void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, & said repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the warranty. This warranty extends from the date of purchase, is offered only to the original owner, & is non transferable. This warranty applies only to goods purchased from The Company. The Company is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or loss. Proof of purchase is required. A bicycle must be registered with The Company before a warranty claim may be processed. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. Definition of mistreatment/improper assembly/improper follow-up maintenance/improper installation of components/wear & tear/misuse/abuse/neglect shall be determined by the owners or employees of The Company within a reasonable time period after inspection & product testing. Testing will be carried out by the owners or employees of The Company. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that use of the goods conforms to all current local laws & legislation. Details of UK legislation is available on our website. Delivery of purchases will be available after funds have cleared & are in the bank account of The Company. Refunds carry a 30% administration charge. Delivery & collection fees apply to all purchases. Goods to be collected, including warranty repairs are subject to collection fees, price for this to be agreed in advance & in agreement with The Company, its owners or employees. It is necessary to follow the supplied product user guide recommendations regarding product use & user adjustments. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty.
